About Me

I’m a tech-savvy professional currently transitioning from a customer service-focused role into something more dynamic and meaningful. Technology and innovation have always captivated me, and I enjoy spending hours behind the computer exploring the latest gadgets, software, and tech trends.

Whether it’s diving into a new tool or testing cutting-edge solutions, I thrive on discovering how things work and sharing that knowledge with others.

Over the years, I’ve honed my customer service skills to a high level, building long-term relationships with clients and ensuring they feel supported as they onboard with a company’s products or services.

I take pride in my ability to break down complex topics into clear, relatable explanations, making even the most intricate concepts accessible to others.

I strongly believe in lifelong learning and am passionate about developing my professional skill set. However, I’ve realized that my current position isn’t providing the growth opportunities I need.

I’m eager to break free from simply “settling” for what pays best and move toward a career that challenges me, fuels my curiosity, and allows me to make a meaningful impact.

Cybersecurity has fascinated me since I was a kid, even though I didn’t know much about it back then. I definitely did not know were to start for a career in the field, Instead, I chosen a career in insurance because it seemed more straightforward and relatable at the time.

That decision led me down an incredible path where I was exposed to the financial side of insurance through working at the corporate office, and I absolutely fell in love with it. Economics quickly became my passion as I learned to navigate markets, sell dynamic products, and adapt to financial trends. If you’re interested let’s talk—I could go on for hours!

In the insurance industry, cybersecurity and data management were constants. From preventing identity theft to enhancing secure systems, I gained firsthand experience with the importance of protecting sensitive information.

I was often involved in learning, and improving these processes, sparking my deeper interest in tech-driven solutions. As I navigate the roadmap to cybersecurity,

I’m discovering that while my years of experience with computers, sales (both in-person and remote), and client support have given me a strong foundation, transitioning into this field requires solid IT experience.

To bridge that gap, I’m actively studying for my CompTIA A+ certification and gaining hands-on IT support experience to build my skills in help desk operations. Alongside this, I’m pursuing my Google Cybersecurity Certificate and working toward my CompTIA Security+ certification to deepen my knowledge and qualifications in the cybersecurity domain.

I’ve always enjoyed the basics, like setting up hardware, uploading files and drivers, and connecting systems, which makes the IT support route feel like a natural fit for me. This path not only aligns with my interests but also prepares me for the exciting challenges of a cybersecurity career.
